Knight's Landing

This design provides 9 to 12 homes for a range of household needs, including rental, freehold or strata ownership. Unit sizes range from one-bedroom dwellings at 500sq.ft. to 540sq.ft., to two-bedrooms at 815sq.ft. to 1020 sq.ft. 

​Each unit is designed to maximize usable living space, with large, sunlit half-basement levels that bring in abundant natural light. The exterior features a contemporary palette of grey brick cladding with articulated elements that add visual interest along the street frontage. A shared rear yard provides space for bicycle parking and community gathering.

Exterior colour options are available to suit different preferences. This design is appropriate for modular production and delivery. ​

This young professional is finding it difficult to secure a modest home in an established neighbourhood close to his workplace. While he values a shorter commute and the benefits of a walkable community, the available housing options are largely oversized and priced beyond his needs and budget.

Knight's Landing would add diversity to the neighbourhood and allow him to live in a decently sized 1-Bedroom Unit, close to downtown.
